So is this using the tube amp to power any thing? Or is it only the TA-10.1?

Check out 'Little Dot' products when you get the chance. They have some very affordable TUBED headphone amps/preamps that sound phenomenal with my Polk 10's (or any speaker). VERY musical sound!

Thanks, I've owned a couple in the past, nice little amps with a lot of power.
I buy them at obad imports
