My son was born with spina bifida 6 years ago...they said he would never walk. He flatlined 2 within a month and they didn't give him much of a chance. Miracles happen he walks and runs without any devices he has no control of his bowel or bladder but considering his chances he has been blessed. Life with spina bifida isn't easy but my son is worth every minute. Best of luck and god bless.

i have spina bifida and just wanted to let u know that tho the doctors may say she may never walk or sit up try ur best to not let what doctors say get in the way. if there's a way for her to walk some day God will make it happen. and no doctor can get in the way of that if u dont let them.

She is so precouse. I have SB also para from waist down. They told my mom and dad when I was born I was going to be a veggie the rest of my life. I am here now to tell you they where wrong. Do not let anyone tell you what your baby will be. Just believe pray and learn all you can to help her in life. Just becouse she has a Dis does not mean she can't do anything. She CAN DO ANYTHING.
