Typically for the do-it-yourself for pulling lines is a little bit more difficult. Here in the Carolinas very few irrigation contractors pull irrigation pipe. PVC is the common product used here and pulling it often times create problems in the soil. The other issue is manifold valves, that is old-style installation and designing a system using head-to-head coverage often times pipes must be run in same area and overlapping multiple times. I'm interested in quality, not quantity
Too much work, here in NJ we just Spade them in, The clean up and repair of the lawn is probably more expensive than the entire system, Why didn't you pull the lines?????
