The Reason Rally - A Secular Celebration

As producer and host for The Thinking Atheist, I felt it was important to be a part of the March 24, 2012 Reason Rally in Washington DC, and to shoot as much footage as possible for the members of the TTA community who couldn't attend personally. This short "diary" of my experience is my own account of a momentous day, told from my perspective. I hope it encourages and emboldens you. -Seth Andrews

I totally understand why this wasn't news worthy, if U think about it rationally, what better way to keep people ignorant than not showing them the existence of such an event, if believers and none believers new of this event via the international media, I'm sure there would be more persons both for and against the rally, it's basic strategy really, because most if not all international news stations are controlled by religious persons, it's that easy to figure out 8/.

As an former US Marine and an Atheist, I put my life on the line to protect you, all other believers and all non believers of religion - I may not be in the Marines anymore but I would still put my life on the line to protect you and everyone else. I stand for life liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Not only do I stand for it, I am willing and have put my life on the line to protect and defend that which I stand for. Regardless of your opinion or belief I stand for your and my rights.
