everyone's hair is different of course so the regime in this video doesn't work for me. I have long hair and it's still growing. I shampoo 2-3x a week. I don't use heat, and I wear protective styles alot. Rarely do I use the curling iron. I haven't used any oil on my scalp in 10+ years and my scalp has never been dry....everyone has to be in touch with their own hair and work a regime that you know works for you

"Use olive oil if your hair is not dry and tea tree oil if it is dry"....is that correct? I think tea tree oil helps to clean the scalp and olive is a really good moisturizer for dry hair....at least that my understanding

@deefortune07 amen...i was wondering if someone would admit that. you'd have to spray your hair with water all day every day.

@bratzdoll826 You are so correct! Washing ANY part of the body 'infrequently' DOES NOT WORK for me! Rinsing with conditioner AT LEAST is a must. Take the time to know YOUR hair and work with YOUR hair. Use natural products (shea butter, coconut oil, etc) no petroleum/parabens/artificial ANYTHING. FEED the hair from the inside (eat healthfully-nclude biotin, MSM, rosemary, horsetail, sage, oatstraw, kelp, dulse,---herbs that stimulate growth. And yes, protect it at night with satin.

she says that not washing your hair makes it dry... that's usually not true. the chemicals in most shampoos cause your hair to be dry after washing.
of course it's not the same for everyone because everyone's hair is different, but over-washing generally will dry your hair out more than under washing.

WOW!!!! I completely disagree that black women should wash their hair every other week. Contrary to popular belief, black women nor our hair will not melt or dissipate in water. It's good for your hair, scalp and body. I would be careful of using cheap, drying shampoos but it's asinine to believe frequent hair washing is the culprit hindering "healthy hair".
Lastly, would you take advise from someone whose own hair isn't the epitome of health? HELL NO
