Choosing to love another person, to confront your inner doubts and fears is a lonesome and frightening task. Often it is easier to run away. Liv wants to fall in love. She longs to have another person in her life, but her head is filled with doubts and anxiety.

I never had ANY of those people around me when I was in Love. But as soon as She left me for another man because he was 'Financially' more supportive, I was over Crowded with Ugly people.
It's not the Sex, the laughter or even the youth I miss... But the Closeness that I don't even have with myself now that I keep having nightmares about.
But so many people FEAR Being on their own lately, that that in itself will make them stay.

It's about her trying to fight off all those around her, who think they know what's best for her. And cos of that she ends up fighting her own doubts which are consequently brought on by others. When she returns to him at the end and presses the doorbell and the crowd are sucked into the sky it's her overpowered them all. Then the noise of the mob once she's inside are just like her doubting thoughts. Once she hugs him and the vaporise to running off, it shows they both had the same problem.
