the music and the elegent ness on the ice is so different from todays skaters music. in a good way.

Floskate, thank you for posting this. WOW! Lisa-Marie was a wonderful skater and she is 5'9, not under 5' like the skaters of today. She was always robbed in the scores; much more talented than the judges scored her. That was a beautiful program! Yeah LIsa-Marie!!

This was a gorgeous program. Ina Bauer is as good if not better than Mao Asada's right into a double axel. Wonderful. She didn't let up for a second. Classy lady and with a classy performance.

Oh yeah. Who noticed the music? That big 3 sal, those gorgeous double axles, the effortless stroking, the perfect back. This was a great performance.

th editing process is key to a program . slavka kohout used to use single bars of music at times in janet lynns programs of course janet was the consummate artist and could make anything work because she became the music

One of the many things that I LOVE about this program is that every nuance is perfectly choreographed - and executed. Today's skaters could learn from her.

Thanks for sharing, the quality is amazing! Looks like it could have been filmed yesterday.

Crazy judges. This was the skate of the night.

Ugh, Rimsky-Korsakov, Stravinsky, Khatchaturian, Beethoven...did you leave anyone out Lisa-Marie? It's too bad because she's a wonderful skater, but too many key and style changes in this program have my ears bleeding.

*sigh* It was the 70's! Everyone did this. Why not just enjoy the skating instead of snarking because the music of 30 years ago wasn't edited to your taste?? Seriously what is the point of posting gems like this if people are too narrow minded to appreciate skating history for what it is?
