actually this is....Whitney. Nothing wrong. Streisand comparison/contrast is unfair, Barbra was NEVER undue drugs or alcohol, Whitney has her probs. Still better than Mariah, On any day of the week, blow Mariah off the stage no doubt!!!!!!! She was better 1992 than Mariah ever will be, no doubt aboiut it!!!!!!!!!!! ABSOLUTELEY!!!!!!!

@kmaur21 If you are referring to Ms. Streisand, learn to spell her name and the woman is still selling new records. Ms. Houston destroys this great song, probably the WORST version ever recorded. This song is subtle, not bombastic. Houston probably took a few hits of crack and those who admire this horrid version, probably did too.

I love Whitney, but her versions of Alfie are always needlessly oversung. I have no doubt that she adores the song, but the phrasing is all over the place. However, one must note that by 1996, Whitney's voice had already changed a lot and it shows here.

I'm so sick of hearing the same played out "drugs this/drugs that" comments on EVERY Whitney video. I had no idea so many saints and Gods lived in this world. STFU with your criticisms. Whitney enjoyed a massive 15 year career before drugs affected her voice. Whitney was FAR past her prime before drugs started to claim her voice, so I wish you ignorant asses would lay off of it. Drugs has NOTHING to do with this performance. Enjoy it or get the fuck off her videos.

@ChadCalhoun415 I agree with you to some extent.
I think mariah Carey is underrated. I don't like Mariah. But when you say 'Who's the best singer'
People will say. WHITNEY HOUSTON, AND IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII. CELINE DIONE, YOU'RE HEEEEEEEEEEEEERE. SHIRLEY BASSEY.
no one really mentions Mariah, and she is one of them!

@billyboylb Boo Boo Whitney tore this song up stay on topic!!!!!!!!!!!!
Where did that voice go? I truly miss this Whitney. I don't know if I will ever hear a voice like this in my lifetime (I'm 57). She had it. Because I believe so strongly about the loss of this one time unbeieveable talent, I hold Bobby Brown partly responsible for her downward spiral. Remember, I said "partly". Unfortunately, she willing played the other part.
