I see Richard's reclusive lifestyle reflected in this piece. He's standing in front of the water in the cold, desolate bay near his house on a cloudy day. He thinks about his parents.

@8EnfEnEt8 Is that an excerpt from some book or did you invented it....I really liked it!!

This should be the standard canon everywhere.

@VasaaL its in the title! Harmonium! Its a Indian instrument/organ... google it!
-

This is art...only Aphex Twin can do something beautiful like this !! Great track <3

@8EnfEnEt8 lovely summation. this track is such a beautiful nostalgiac piece. he's up there with the great composers. a living legend even though he is miserable mysoginstic social retard. god bless him though.

He's so unbelievably versatile

The organist revisits his old town. "Just one quick stop", as he pulls into the church's lot. The place closed down five years ago - lack of funding. He sneaks inside, with memories slowly trickling in of friends, festivals and funerals. He opens the lid of his old companion, and warms up one last time.

I find it amazing how this artist can put a whole atmosphere and feeling into one single track
as if it would be a whole life converted into music
So much beauty in imperfections
