  • So you make the Nestle Toll House Recipe + 1 cup of baby oatmeal? You don't compensate for the added dry ingredient in any way? Interesting.

  • @katzcradul - I used to add a jar of baby food bananas when I was getting rid of baby food :)... but now nope...I sometimes add an extra tsp. or so of vanilla..but it doesn't make a big difference really.

  • couldnt i just blend some oatmeal till powder??? i made my own baby food that way! i will try and get back to ya..i have 4 testers to try them on...lolz, great channel too

  • @2003desiree yes- you totally can blend the oatmeal- my kids don't go for the oatmeal texture- but that way they are getting something healthy in there and they don't even know it! :)

  • My mother use to let me lick the beaters, too! Where di you ever get the idea to put the baby cereal in your cookies? It sounds interestingd. :-)

  • @Vintagebeliever oh, when you have a bunch of leftover baby food you get creative! but yes, it is the only way I can get my 2 yr. old to eat oatmeal lol!

  • @TheGreenAppleHome oh i hear ya on the texture thing, mine are two boys 6,and 7. and my baby girl is 5 and my oldest girl is turning 18. one of my sons would gag on anything smooth and mushy as a baby even now he wont eat pudding or purees. they wont eat big textured cookies either. they need to be uniform...lolz. gotta do what ya gotta do eh?

  • I was wondering about the wax paper thing. thanks for the insight. I cant wait to try the oatmeal in them. Lynne cant eat that but we can. Have you tried them with the rice cereal? I use powdered eggs so the kids can eat the unbakes. Oldest daughter uses real eggs at her house and her boyfriend got salmonella from it a few weeks back.
