Chinese scripts were developed at least as early as 1600 B.C.
During the Han Dynasty (206 B.C. - 220 A.D.), the five major styles of scripts were existing and used with Li Shu being more popular in general. It is said that Cao Shu, Hsin Shu, and Kai Shu were developing at nearly the same time during the Han period and Kai Shu came to its current standard forms as the latest among the five major scripts.

i belive kaishu is same as word pinyin

@FOXnewsAlien Chinese characters have 5 major scripts - Seal, Clerical, Running, Walking, and Standard. The standard style is like current printed type we use today.
