Why Can't We See God?

God is absolutely other than His creation, for the Creator cannot have the same kind of being as His creation. Although this is self-evident, some people still ask why we cannot see God directly.

As created and finite beings, our potential and capacity are limited. Our Creator, on the other hand, is Infinite. We live and die within His creation, strive for understanding and virtue, and seek our salvation by His Mercy.

The Bible tells me that Jesus is God and that I will burn in hell if I don't believe it.

The Koran tells me that there is One God and Mohammed is his prophet and that I will burn in hell if I don't believe it.

The Hindu texts tell me that there are many Gods and that I will be reborn as a dog if I don't believe it.

Each religion tells me that the other religion is untrue - so how do I find out which of these religions - if any - is true? I can't see a reason to believe any of them.

SAme way you would find out if a person is truthful, is the message practical in speech adn action, how true is it really?

Can you look directly at the sun??? when you cant then how can you look directly at its creator??? wheareas the sun is only a small star in this vast expanse of universe it stands only like a minute dot...

Do not the Unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together before we clove them asunder? We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?He placed firmly embedded mountains on it, towering over it, and blessed it and measured out its nourishment in it, laid out for those who seek it-all in four days. The first thing that one should know and clearly understand about Islam is what the word "Islam" itself means. The religion of Islam is not named after a person as in Christianity which was named after Jesus Christ, Buddhism after Gotama Buddha. The Arabic word "Islam" means the submission or surrender of one's will to the only true god worthy of worship Allah and anyone who does so is termed a "Muslim", The word also implies "peace" which is the natural consequence of total submission to Allah

Who are we (the human being)? Who are you and I? And why are we here on earth? The Qur'an teaches that we humans are created of three components. We are created from clay, representing the material or carnal element. We are endowed with intellect that is Allah-given to be used, not to be put on the shelf. Reason may be insufficient but it is not the antithesis of faith, either. And thirdly, we have spirit, which was breathed into us.

the earth and the heavens above (the sun, moon, stars, planets, galaxies, etc.) have been formed from 'smoke' we conclude that the earth and the heavens were one connected entity. Then out of this homogeneous 'smoke', they formed and separated from each other. God said in the Quran:

Have not those who disbelieved known that the heavens and the earth were one connected entity, then We separated them?..[Noble Quran 21:30]

This is one of the undisputed principles of standard modern cosmology. Scientists now can observe new stars forming out of the remnants of that 'smoke'. The illuminating stars we see at night were, just as was the whole universe, in that 'smoke' material. God said in the Quran:

Then He turned to the heavens when it was smoke...

It is also necessary to remove from our minds and hearts any prejudices and prior notions of how everything came into being and how it is being sustained and perpetuated. This is the critical first step to gaining any true knowledge and establishing facts based on proof.

The science of modern cosmology, observational and theoretical, clearly indicates that, at one point in time, the whole universe was nothing but a cloud of 'smoke'
