  • Its such a pity how most people today like people like Lady Gaga and Akon, come on people.... they use computers to help! I definantly think that these guys should get more airtime on the radio. I love the funky groove of them and it's probably my fave jazz song. It's hard to describe the song.... but perfect and awsome are two words that fit well.

  • Finally! A Throwdown at the Hoedown video that wasn't shot by a five-year-old! You can never go wrong with this tune.

  • @homerogold , i see it more as tipping his hat apposed to just copying the bass line, love this song man

  • Vanilla Ice and now Wooten ,copy the "Under pressure bass line" from jhon Deacon :-)

  • just gotta say...victor wooten is the best!!!!!

  • @RedSkyTree1 *Quote from near future* Captain! We can't repel groove of this magnitude!

  • insane

  • @RedSkyTree1 Well put, man. Him and Stanley Clarke.

  • I was able to see Bella in the 80's in Telluride at the Blue Grass festivals. I also saw Jerry Garcia take a step back when Bella took permanent galactic ownership of Jerrys song Midnight Moonlight at the Greek Theater in 91 under the sun for everyone in the Bay Area to see. Everyone went for Jerry Garcia band, and were there were literally casualties from Futuremans fallout.

  • I'm assuming Victor is wearing that Star Trek type getup to pay homage to the alien race that spawned him.... obviously a planet of bass players... He's either here to hide his identity as the greatest bass player ever...or to prove that Earth has no chance in intergalactic warfare.

  • how is it possible I've missed this video untill tonight? awesome performance.

  • @pigdogg79 I love Akon. I love Bela Fleck and the Flecktones. These guys don't want the radio. They like their audience.
