The David R. Cheriton School of Computer Science was featured in a recent piece that aired on CBC's The National on January 19. The School's Director, Tamer Özsu, was interviewed about Google's decision to establish an office in Waterloo by buying out the company Reqwireless, headed by former University of Waterloo Computer Science student, Roger Skubowius.
I think he means the founder of RIM (Guy who made the blackberry)
