INTERVIEW WITH HAROLD CAMPING- May 22, 2011- The Day After 'the Rapture'
An interview with Harold Camping at his residence on May 22nd, 2011 regarding his reaction to the failed prophecy of the Rapture and subsequent 'end times'/end of the world to follow.
Harold Egbert Camping (born July 19, 1921) is an American Christian radio broadcaster.
He is president of Family Radio, a California-based radio station that spans more than 150 markets in the United States.
Camping's trademarks include his deep, sonorous voice coupled with a slow cadence.
He is notable for twice having used Bible-based numerology to predict dates for the Rapture, dates which passed without incident in each case. The most recent was his 2011 end times prediction; he calculated that the Rapture would occur on May 21, 2011, and that God would subsequently completely destroy the Earth and the universe five months later on October 21. He had previously predicted that the Rapture would occur in September 1994.

@SiriusShaun But his teachings was deceiving a lot of people and cause some to even leave their congregation. Jesus did say if anyone cause one of His little ones (immature in the faith) to stumble, it would be better if a mill stone were put around his neck and was cast into the sea. So Harold Camping has to live with his shame for the rest of his life......an instant death would have been better for him.

I think what he's been trying to say is that "his" world is coming to an end.

@SiriusShaun he's not a good man. he is a liar, and a parasite, who figured out how to manipulate weak people with fear, and by convincing them that they were a part of a "special few" just like any other cult leader.

@SiriusShaun No. it doesn't. They have tornadoes in Missuri fairly regularly. some stronger and more destructive than others. pointing to a natural occurance like that as some kind of a "sign" makes it all the more obvious that your clutching for staws. the tornado that happened before that one didnt have any special meaning, and niether will the next one. So to try to assign a special meaning to that one is just rediculous. your stretching.

He is a good man. His response to the man at the door was very honest and humble.

Well, it DOES hold relevance that on May 22nd, the day after, Joplin MO was hit by the F5 tornado. That was no freakin joke.
