That second gaff wasn't a gaff. The first commercially made televisions were introduced to America, the UK, and the Soviet Union, in 1928. And much like Obama, Roosevelt inherited a great economic crisis, and went on television to explain to the nation his "New Deal" to end the depression, in 1933. I've heard several people stomp on Biden for that, and they shouldn't, because what he said wasn't wrong.

You guys aren't well known for sound leadership either, so there is just as much a concern there as it is here. The US just matters a little more in the world, that's all. McCain is obviously the only logical choice for our future. He has less likely to go wrong with his administration than Obama-biden does.
