This is an animation of the proposed Charles Street Trolley in Baltimore, MD. This version shows a modern, low-floor, Skoda-designed vehicle, like those used in Portland, traveling between Fayette St. and Read St. in downtown and the Mt. Vernon neighborhood. For more information about this idea go to http://www.charlesstreet.org/trolley/ The animation was done by Newlands & Company, Inc.
On the map I see, I can tell the line is a continuous loop, are unidirectional trams being considered?

Don't call it a trolley. Trolley is the pole used to collect the current and is also a nickname to some trolleybuses. This is a tram and has no piece of equipment called trolley on it. It has a panthograph. And that is some really light traffic.
