It doesn't need to be about which performer was better - Norah Jones' sultry sweetness was the perfect foil for Dave Grohl's passion. What a great pairing, and what a great performance of this song!

@brideshead1921 Very few men can sing in the key that Sir Paul could/can sing in. One of the beautiful things about music is the ability for artists to adapt things, making them their own, paying homage to the original artist. Jazz has done this for decades. Sorry you didn't appreciate their interpretation, but I am pretty sure that Mr. McCartney did.

Sorry, FAIL.
- Pianist didn't play the chromatic part and didn't play the anguished D7#9 chord from the original key.
- Dave couldn't play the guitar part right. He shortened it.
- Dave's voice was so so & a few keys lower than Paul's original. Just because he growls, doesn't mean there is passion or vulnerability.
- Norah: poor phrasing. Her voice put me to sleep.
Maybe it was on short notice. But baby I'm amazed that anyone would try to touch this song w/o the ability to KILL it.

I dont know maybe it is just me but Dave Grohl has such a vulnerability about him in this song. Sometimes he sings and it is just singing but sometimes you see him and he looks so vulnerable and sweet that you have to love him. And Norah Jones has a beautiful voice. I am suprised by this but it works.

@n20011892 She does have a nice voice, but Dave is definitely the heart and soul of this magnificent version. And the fact that he was be able to bring it in front of Macca himself only goes to show what a great artist he is...
