TVersity is the solution. Get the free version!
Easy to use even if you are not a genious and no more messages...

go to windows media player make sure its 11 and click on the tab and click file sharing or something like that and then scan for media server

Uninstall AVG and get eset nod32. read up on it first.:)

Nevermind I kept AVG; it was just a matter of setting the Router properly... I had the wrong IP address for my ps3. But thanks for commenting though

how will that make a difference ? AVG is fully customizable, I should be able to make it work without getting rid of the program. and ESET Nod32 costs like 90$ for a 2 year license!
