Thank you for posting this! I haven't heard it in years!
I saw Ivor Biggun in concert in 1995, with a cameo from the late Judge Dread. Superb!
I then saw Robert "Doc" Cox performing as himself the following year.

cant believe this one of all Ivor Bigguns records is teh least known its easily the best
wasnt it Fiesta that had the biggest section (some one told me!)

Thank you for posting this oddly haunting song. My 45 rpm copy is as crackly as yours.
-
This song was also used at the end of the Electric Blue TV episode #7 while various undressed house wives showed off. Fit the scenes perfectly.

thank you so much for uploading, I love this one even tho Ivor has practically disowned it now.

There was a version of Didn't We Have a Lovely Time The Day We Went To Bangor, called Didn't We Have a Lovely Time The Day We Went To Toy Town.
Any postings?

Ivor and the Macc Ladds were my heroes

As a Northern Brit - we were dragged up on these songs and the Hovis joke song! I bet there's not a Northerner (around in the 80s) worth their salt (or coal) who doesn't know the words to I'm a Wanker etc!!!!
Doc Cox very talented and overlooked I will own up to buying the viynl version, even though this was officially the B side both sides a credit to the afore mentioned.Thanx 4 posting AWESOMMMMMMMME.
