Grace Patersons late husband Alan saw his doctor in January, complaining of a lump in his neck. The lump appeared to be related to the thyroid gland and was so large that it was displacing his trachea. Doctors recognized the urgency of his condition and said We will get you to surgery, for a biopsy, as soon as possible. Several months later Mr. Paterson called to ask for a biopsy date and was told he must wait even longer. Finally, in August, Mr. Paterson complained of difficult breathing and was admitted to hospital because the thyroid mass was obstructing his windpipe. Alan Paterson died a few days after being admitted to hospital.
@kyotofukyotosi I am also concerned about how Canandian doctors do not understand that each day and each hour is important to cancer patients and that if treated earlier, it may save them their lives.
Also Canadian hospital conditions are very disgusting, and cause infections to patients all the time because they are not too serious about viruses and contamination. I know a lady who had gangrene and had to have her leg amputated after a small surgery that has to do with her shin.
