@toughb4y Also, if someone steals your gun and is pulled over for speeding with it, the police will run the numbers to make sure it's not stolen. When it comes back as stolen, they can catch the man that stole your gun and you get your gun and other stolen property back.

I do agree with you about registration but I wanted to add a much more likely situation since theft seems to happen often enough...

People, registration is a good thing (unless you plan on murdering someone with that gun). :P
