First impressions on the Sig Sauer GSR 1911 Target pistol. The pistol is extremely well built with tight tolerances. Solid feeling 1911 and has to be one of the best I've owned. The package comes with the gun, two 8 round single stack magazines. The slide and frame are in stainless steel. All internal parts are machined and there are absolutely no MIM parts in it. Its a little pricey, but you really do get alot from Sig.

@chanderson1 'Sig look' blockier slide can be a bit of an issue with really tight-boned/fitted holsters. Took a little work to get mine to draw clean from Galco NSA2. Blackhawk Serpa for open carry fits like a glove. Love my Sig. Utterly reliable & nicely accurate.

@mikestunner75 Funny you mention that, because I saw one over the weekend. It is a beautiful 1911 and I was very tempted to pick one up. Also, the S&W had a lot of detail and looked very well made.
