I used to be flexible enough to go that deep, started working out again, and don't seem to be able to get in the hole like that now. Give it time?

question-when working up to a max in back squats, should a lifter attempt a maximum multiple times if they miss it the first time? i.e. should your mentality for squats be the same as it is for the snatch and c+j as far as continuing to attempt a max after multiple misses?

hey coach I was wondering, this 240 kg squat looks way easier than his other 240 video but his most recent max effort squat looks tougher than the 623 pound squat. Do you know why that is? the decent also looked much slower on the recent one.

Hey John, do you instruct your lifters to sit back a tiny bit on their back squats? Because it looks slightly like Rob sits back a bit then sinks. Is it because of his recovery from his knee?
