I doubt Enya has ever been to Seligman and I don't recognise the place as I saw it in '99. So I'll put a little of my impressions together and youtube them. Without the just walkin' around. Makes me dizzy. I well remember breakfast in Lilo Lill's roadhouse - and the live Buffalo and toilet thunderboxes. think I'll also add Calico, without the commentary... Knew about Route 66 by reading - I'm British. I also travelled parts of Route 62 in SA to see Ronnie's Sex Shop. World Famous!

I grew up in Phoenix. Been to Seligman. The times Going their are lost to the files of my mind, (the number of visits). The music is good and just right. From an old desert dweller.

Good video, thank you! But I thought the historic starting point was Chicago, Illinois?

Yes, the starting point was Chicago. Seligman was just one of those rural towns that embraced Route 66's arrival when it came to them in the 1920's. For some reason, I thought I saw a sign or flyer that promoted Seligman as the original starting point, which was very confusing. Route 66 was built to connect Chicago with Los Angeles, via small towns. Seligman has tried to retain the old history of Route 66, after being bypassed by Interstate 40.
