3rd season was done after the departure of Greg Weisman , who wrote the first two, hence the decline in quality and the rubbish storyline . I really wish he could continue this cartoon , Disney didn't give him enough time and wanted to reduce the budget drastically because it was not as bankable as they wanted to I hope Disney sells the rights one day, they are in no position to continue this show by themselves with the rubbish they have been putting out ever since. A movie would be awesome too

I hated that they changed the intro!! You can tell just by watching it that the season sucked...

this season is when it went from badass to ninja turtles...sad..i ALSO hope someone remakes them from the begining.

The third season pretty much sucked, but the intro is kinda cool. I like the part where you see the Xanatos family in the background. :)

@MrMarkisa89 Amen brother. The eras that came before weren't perfect, but damnit their cartoons were awesome! X-Men, Gargoyles, Swat Kats, others I can't think of. The worst thing is that some companies bring these shows back because they know fans want them, and then they give the time slot to something that sucks thinking that people will still tune in. You're right, it's no wonder people download the old stuff from the net, it's the only way we see anything with any effort put into it!

@DragonmanX90 no wonder we have to download the old cartoons from internet, because Tv channels wont for some reason put the old cartoons, and they say free download is a crime...........

@MrMarkisa89 Nickelodeon is still around but the only cartoons they show consistently are Spongebob, and a few others. Jetix is now Disney XD and they show a bunch of live action shows that disney either gave up on or felt needed more airtime. Most of their animated stuff got pushed back massively, getting 1-7 am timeslots most of the time.

its sad to look at new cartoons on cartoon network, and can someone tell me if nickelodeon and jetix still exists, because i dont have cabel and in the 90s i could watch this on satellite dish
