I also had this album in the early 70's. Check out an old movie called "The Groove Tube". This song is used int that movie in one of the various sketches. Richard Belzer is one of the actors.

Glad to see you guys like it. I was the producer-engineer on the gig.

Nice to see that this music is still enjoyed 40 years later. Can be same be said of what passes for music today?

These guys actually came into a club we were playing in Atlantic City 1971 or 72 and sat in minus Billy Cobham he was leaving the band. Thier vocalist Eddie heard us play New York City and brought the whole band in to see us .

Sorry I thought you were serious

@roccopep It's a joke- obviously there was no better than Michael and Randy with Barry Rogers. The horns were KILLING on this, and the whole band was amazing. They improvised a lot of the horn parts, and this was truly jazz-rock. If we could only hear this kind of thing live nowadays in a small NYC club....

Also Will Lee on bass , Don Grolnic keys,Eddie Vernon vocals

@curiousnomad What Brecker Bros weak?
I had both their records and loved this tune, thanks for posting. I saw a lineup close to this at Paul's Mall in Boston in the 70's, Billy Cobham (Band) on drums, John Abercrombie on guitar, Brecker Bros. on horns, bass & keys? memorable show.
