i saw them in ottawa 2006 day before canada day on the front lawn of the parliament, sam just got on stage and started playing and singing and it was just him and my gf at the time and a few bums on the lawn watching, i miss that day and i miss that girl :(

i went to see sam and the band in toronto about a year ago now, it was an amazing show. but my absolute favourite part of the concert was when sam was singing this song, and the crowd just went nuts after sam sang "and her soft brown hair is as long as a CANADIAN highway." it's something i'm going to remember forever.
