A silent march was today held in memory of Ian Tomlinson, from Bethnal Green police station in East London to the spot in Cornhill in the City of London where he died shortly after being assaulted at least once by the police. Marchers were mainly dressed in black and laid flowers where he died.

  • Justice for Ian Tomlinson!

A right way up police force would lock up Ian's killer

  • iTS TIME FOR EVEYONE TO USE THEIR VOICE.

WE ARE IN A CRITICAL STATE.

    jOIN US.

  • its funny the police tactics here were a lot different

  • murder of an innocent man. police filth.

  • That's how I like to see Police, accompanying the just... not fighting each-other. Police and citizens have the same interests. We have the same interests.

We should all walk in and arrest all the corrupt politicians that jeopardize our children's future, and the criminal forces that corrupt them.

Maybe charges should be brought forward and arrests be made through an alternative and transparent provisional justice system. Such matters can't be put off till a later date, when all is done.

  • Seems like justice for Ian Tomlinson isn't going to come quick. The Guardian is running a story saying there will be a 3 year wait for an inquest!!!

  • Welldone to everyone who attended, there is another protest on the 18th outside the city police hq against police brutality. feel free to contact me if you want more details.

    Rest In Power Ian Tomlinson

  • We must not forget that it is the government who have given the police too much power , it is the government who give them their orders.
