Ever since I had discovered John and Buffy's album Signals Through The Glass while at San Diego State in1969 and played that LP a thousand times, I have dearly loved their wonderful music through the many years , this brought back a lot of great memories ! (saw John at SDSU at "The Back Door" Buffy wasn't on stage, so John could not do my request of "The Pirates Of Stone County Road", darn it, LOL.)
I never wanted this clip top end! I was so fortunate to see John and Buffy many times in a small club in Sausalito, CA. If they played three shows, we would be there for all three. I was doing college radio at the time and played the California Bloodlines LP , cut by cut, many times. This clip was a wonderful and emotional flashback...thanks to the poster!
I had the GREAT fortune of seeing John Stewart and Buffy Ford in the late 60's at the Marshall Hotel, in Northern California. They both autographed my album, California Bloodlines. What beautiful troubadours and people. Thanks for posting this.
Buffy you must be some woman to have been at his side. I know you and he loved. When I weep for John I weep for you and for John's children, too. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being with him to the end. This rendition gave me a smile. I do applaud you lady! Ya done mighty fine and he'd be proud.
