Middle Eastern music always sounds erotic due to the scales being played. It's great to introduce this erotic sound to the west to appreciate the richness of World Music. The music is NOT shallow, it's deep for the serious listener. S & F are ahead of their time in creating and preformance this PASSION sound. Thanks!
@intiandthemoon I can't believe you don't like Stagnaro's live sound..it is not unsimilar to Jorge. Both use Pedro Maldonado F1's fitted with RMC pickups so they are not worlds apart. I checked out Pedro Javier Gonzalez - a really talented player, very clean and accurate and another with a great amplified sound. Thanks for putting me on to him, I had a very enjoyable hour watching out his vids. Cheers amigo.
@smoothflamenco Well I would also like to have that information you know more than me, I'm agree with you they have on of the most pleasent amplified sound, Stagnaro's sound it's not one of my favoritesbut I admire him as a musician have you heard about Pedro Javier Gonzales? I've been trying to imitate his sound for years he is one of my favorites, thanks for the info anyway and nice meeting you.
@intiandthemoon yes I can see that - I was interested in what specifically he uses in his signal chain to augment the RMC pickups he uses - what kind of fanout box and processing in order to achieve what is in my opinion the most pleasing amplified sound of any nylon string guitarist anywhere - with the exception of Ramon Stagnaro whose tone when playing with Andrea Bocelli was stunning!
Fantastic
