You don't bode too well for the arrowhead collecting community when every time you find a point the "cha-ching" sound is heard. That's why most professional archaeologists think we're grave robbers who are out to profit off of artifacts.

Yeah, I suppose people could get the impression that I'm in it for money. Not so though. I would never sell a point. Every one is precious to me. My use of the "cha-ching" simply signifies the "money shot," as it's called - the moment the point is pulled from the soil. It captures the feeling most collectors get at that moment pretty well, I think. Sort of like "Boo-yaa!" is for fishermen :) Gotta go watch your pig Gar catch now... Thanks for watching/commenting...

I only hunt in fields where I have permission from the landowner. After being threatened to be shot, and hollered at a few times, I learned my lesson :)
But yeah, exactly, lots of walking and looking = arrowhead collection.

my cousin has thousands of arrowheads all found in central Neb, even found a steel arrowhead that traders used to trade with local indians
