Haha! Rob Waddell went to my High school- never meet him, but he also trained at my current rowing club :)
-
no its 255lbs or 116kgs
-
theirs at least 200kgs on that bar?
-
What is your PB on the C2, Xeno?
-
all wrong, too fast back.. :) but film is ok :)
-
i was at that trial! fucking wicked to watch! wall the first 2 races were.

yea; in 2000 he set the 2k erg record by winning CRASH-B, the biggest indoor event. he won the olympic M1x. and then he won the head of the charles M1x, the most prestigious head race. quite an amazing year.

it's not so much what he achieved, it's how he achieved it. He won Olympic gold in 2000, setting a new world record in the process. Also set a 2k WR on the erg (5.38). All within a year.
It was his commitment and drive that set him apart. He raised the bar on what could be achieved. afaik, only 3 people have ever gone under 5.40 for 2k on the erg. Before Rob, it was thought undo-able.

When Rob, came to visit, I could feel his motivation to get back in to full power. It was great to witness.

so, mr. muller, if i'm able to do that stabilizer on the erg with one leg and contract it, does that mean i have olympic potential as well? ;)
i'd love to get to this level of rowing, racing as a sculler has been something i've never tried, only sweeps (typical americans eh?) but i still have a few years in college to get my times down and increase experience

Hi,
I put together a DVD of on the water sculling. I was filmed two weeks ago. In that same DVD I added an indoor rowing technique session, in which I explain power application.
