Look up 'Poe's Law' and then you will understand why I can't tell this statement is a joke or not. We have primary sources of the existence of George Washington: namely books that he himself wrote. We have first hand accounts of George Washington doing, saying and writing things from sources that were contemporary with him, as in, they lived during the same time as Washington: not 300 years later. Do you know what the definition of 'evidence' means?

@OnlineFusion That is lunacy. We have documents with George Washington's signature on them. We have contemporary portraits of Washington. We have correspondence between Washington and others. His house is a museum, his possessions are museum artifacts, and we know where his body is.
None of these things are true of Jesus. The suggestion that there is more evidence for the existence of Jesus than the existence of Washington is transparently absurd.

All Right!! I agree. Each person must decide what he or she will do with Jesus. And I made my decision. I dumped him. The Jesus cult represents the grandest deception, the most prolific pack of lies, the greatest fraud ever perpetrated upon humankind. Wake up and speak out. Toss this crazy crap out with the other mind-cluttering religious garbage masquerading as "faith". Throw it in the same bin with Islam, Judaism, Scientology, and Wicca. It's all the same. A balloon full of noxious gas.

What is the difference between Christianity and the other beliefs like the old Egyptian etc. Apart from a well publicized book?
