I watched every video on youtube that I could when my hatchling ball python (only had him 1 month) had a bad shed. He had some old skin still left on the top of his head and tail. I'm new to snakes and decided to try your approach.
Just 4 hours later all of the old scales had come off. This method got rid of all the old skin with little work! Worked Perfect! He came out clean and happy! Thanks for the video! Keep up the good work man! I appreciate it.

Make ssure the towels are really wet, make sure the tub is a heat pad. at least half way. then u should start to see alot of moisture in the tub... if u don't then u don't have enough water in the towels.

@lynnperry555 yes this works for ball pythons make sure it is close to a heat lamp or heat pad if you do this so the snake stays warm. I highly recomend doing this it works msg me back telling me how it went:)

@rashed1112 you only need to do this if it did not shed all of its skin.

Can I ask(well, yes,I obviously can seeing as I'm asking now) if the snake has some old skin left on from an old shed would the skin come off next time when it sheds aswell as the shed from the new shed(if you get what I mean)?

@newkey0010 yes the old skin will come off with the new shed.. you can also put the snake in a wet pillow case. when it moves around the skin will come off...hope this helps
