The Wanderer is a song about redemption. A song about one man's search to find himself.
I chose to use June Carter as Johnny's savior. She was his guiding light -- his pathway to redemption. My video uses religious references but at the heart of it I've put June as the 'one' he is searching for. His soul mate. His salvation.
I have purposely made the video quite literal at times because the song tells a story and I wanted the video to follow that storyline and to bring the viewer in and involve them on an emotional level.
I have also used many photographs and edited and manipulated them to compliment the 'story'. u2mixer

@connormcj25 This is a mono version, or a kind of: it lacks a channel, there is not the jingle
(a jingle = a small metal disc, such as those arranged around the frame of a tambourine)
in the refrain.

This song is special to me. The person who told me that it existed was the person singing it. I was working on Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, wearing an Achtung Baby teeshirt and he told me that the month before he'd been in Ireland recording this song. I had the opportunity hearing him sing without amplification and no recording of Cash has ever done justice to the depth and grandness of his voice in person. That song was Oh Danny Boy...
