Had one years ago. When they first hit the streets. Bad handling fitted a damper did 70mph in first gear. Cops followed me everyplace ended up being banned for speeding.

I'm picking one up for $900. Doesn't run for some reason but luckily I have a repair shop 1 mile away.

@KEGSTR123 Yeah, I had it up to 136 mph. Had a '73 Z1 identical color to this one but with a Kerker header. Was crossing Alligator Alley in South Florida back in '80. The last few mph's were slow getting (laying on the tank did the trick). Once there, the front wheel started to sway. Gingerly let off the power until it stabilized. Found out years later these early models had a weak head stem problem. Still would love to get same exact bike. You never forget your first love.

e lot(£6500 on the engine)one off wheels,and swimnging arm,slab yokes.And a harris 4-1 exhaust.It's not on the road yet,but its gonna be evil!Thanks for the post,its extremely nice to hear a zed running!I have'nt heard one since my 750turbo was on the road!You can't beat the sound of a straight four through a good 4-1!truly heaven sent!!! -
