hey, but remember, Ultimecia and Squall go back into the past and Ultimecia passes down her powers to Edea, which makes the whole story repeat itself. and Ultimecia came from a future where Squall died. Rinoa became a witch when the witch in space(i think her name is Adelle) controlled her. So Squall dying, Rinoa is and will always be a witch.

Squaresoft nor Square Enix have EVER said anything about the Rinoa Equals Ultimecia Theory. The only thing naysayers have is some guide made by a THIRD PARTY company that went bankrupt years ago. Square never addressed, nor denied, the argument.

@HighSummonerBWM It was mentioned in the game several times. Dr. Odine is one example that i can remember but I'm not sure now.

And besides a witch can't die without passing her powers on to someone. She will walk restless like a ghost until she finds a fitting person.

But all of the points are still vague, no matter from which standpoint you see it, because there seem to be several differences in the Game Versions or rather the Translations.

@Akriema No where does it states that sorceresses can live very long. May you please point that out as to where you found or heard of it? Besides, Adel is a sorceress but she felt her age and that she knew that she will have to pass on her powers once she dies.
