i've had two friends die from texting while driving. it has been debated as to wether to show this in United States schools. Personally, I'm all for it. It should be made illegal. Driving should be a full time job. When you're behind the wheel, driving should be your only focus.

@gondek85 I agree with you that people out there need to be more careful, but you need to realize this is a DRAMATIZATION. The reality is it's usually a whole lot worse. Don't say I don't disagree with you, but keep your rants in perspective. This was done with actor and the crash was staged. Now, the reality of it is that these accidents are often a lot worse than what was dramatized here.

The proof of the pudding is in the eating. How do we know that this video produced the desired effect? And how do we know how much of that was due to the video alone? I mean teenagers these days are brought up on violent movies and violent video games. Can what is shown on TV really shock them? I suppose there is no easy way of knowing. To me that is a problem.
