Ohh...I honestly can't remember the exact episode I got fed up with the series around season 7 and 8.
However I believe it was toward the end, right before Sara was kidnapped. Possibly episode 22 or 23.

are you going to do a season 8/9 best of GSR? I think if you can get the vids, you really should. I think those were the best seasons of GSR. except for when Sara leaves. although you should still put it in. especially the kiss before she leaves and the end of season 9episode 10. but that is just my opinion

I've been planning on doing a combination best of season 8 & 9, just been waiting for Grissom's last regular episode.

He's burned out (remember the episode Burn Out? That was about arson as well as Grissom's state of mind.). He goes to some college back east and teaches a short course.
