Thank you for posting, I never watched these when they came out, I was too young, and now that I am older and love richard dawson, I love seeing these, they are not showing these in re-runs where I live, so thank you!!

@SobrietySobriquet I forgot about Amanda Blake leaving Gunsmoke.The actor that replaced James MacArthur in Hawaii Five-0, William Smith, usually played the tough bad guy in other TV shows and starred with Clint Eastwood in 'Any Which Way You Can'.

@acecat44 Starsky & Hutch as well as The A-Team were among the shows that Ivan Dixon (Kinch) directed episodes for. I saw Kenneth Washington on Adam-12 and Dragnet. I wonder if Ivan had any regrets about leaving considering it was before HH's final season. The only other actor I know of to leave a long-running series just prior to it's final year was Herve Villechaize (Tattoo) on Fantasy Island.
