@jewelz844 Somebody's got fruit! I love you my brother in Christ.

@jewelz844 Well then, what sort of example would you consider proof? I suppose it would depend upon what kind of spiritual world you believe in. Do you think there are many paths to God/paradise, or are you dead-set on just one? Or do you believe that ghosts live in the spiritual side of the world? I have evidence that ghosts are not real; just watch 'ghost hunters' and you will notice that they never actually see any ghosts. :/

@jewelz844 yes, there is no way to prove either way, buy you simply didnt understand. Whether or not god exists is not problem. The problem is in mind-set. Religious person choose to believe in theory, which have 0 proofs. Other theorys atleast have some proofs. If you ignore lack of proofs and still continue to believe in your theory, then you are being irrational and non-logical. We have hospitals ONLY because we are being rattional and logical. You have no place in this society

@ScientificBob Perhaps, but I have evidence. Not scientific evidence, granted, but enough to make me believe without doubt. God has spoken to me, answered my prayers and blessed me. This evidence is very personal, I grant you; there is no way I can make you touch it or record it. However, it is evidence and I cannot make you believe it. I would not want to make you believe it either. It is all a matter of choice. I respect your choice, why do you refuse to respect mine?

@ObjectiveImpact That's a bit strong - death... If there is no way of proving either way (like your flight example) then what harm does it do you if some people believe it and some don't? I choose to believe you choose not to. Still, there is no proof either way.
-
@justthisstupid I appreciate the explanation, but that's not proof.

these guys are great! I'm on a nonstampcollector binge right now!

@jewelz844 You fail in on single thing. I cant prove that I cant fly. So why wont you simply believe that I can fly? pffff. People who fail to think logicaly should die.
@jewelz844 "Prove there isn't" Epic fail.
The burden of proof is on the side of the proposer of the positive claim.
YOU are the people claiming that there is a 'spiritual world'. So it's upto YOU to prove that there is such a thing. Until you provide evidence of this, I can discard the claim on face-value alone. Because what is asserted without evidence, can be dissmissed without evidence. It really is that simple.

1. I am calm
2. I read the bible front to back. Twice. I did the same with the koran.
Yes, I am angry. I'm angry at religious nutbags trying to dismantle 21st century secular democracies and turn them into fascistic theocracies. Over my dead body!
"the commandment just said to keep a Sabbath day holy " It also said to kill those who don't. And you think it's a 'wonderfull' religion. It's disgusting and vile.
