This is my inter-media art project, a video based on what is it like to see through someone else's body or through your own body, consider time and space.

So I want to use The Sims. It would kind of follow the lines of: Sims Horror. However I want my video to question the amount of control we have over our bodies and whether or not we are in control. We have to feed our needs, emotional, sexual, physical, mental. With all the time that I have in my life to fill these needs I enjoy playing this game and many other games, when typically I could fulfil these enjoyments through life itself instead of the game. There are countless units of time wasted playing this game fulfilling a virtual body's needs while neglecting my own, so i suppose it could question if someone is controlling me and focusing on what needs they wish for me to fulfil, such as my fun meter? When i used to play world of war craft my human character had a saying: "Do you ever feel like you're not in charge of your own destiny, like... you're being controlled by an invisible hand?" Which was of course ironic because I am playing that very character that is telling me that joke.

This idea stems from ideas in which reality is questioned and often has a virtual control? Similar to The Matrix, however i also would like to base my idea a bit off of the movie gamer when you people controlling real people via computer. But it plays off of the idea that the "gamer" isn't aware someone is behind the control of their reality.

I want to open with the quote from WoW, then use the song: my body, just for entertainment value. Also after looking up "art film" i read they are typically serious and i want to deviate and be very ironic and almost funny. Then at the end of the film the camera pulls back and it is someone playing the video with their own mood meter and plumbob.
