I know it's a fictional program, but there are people like that. You know, big shots. I had an authoritarian neurologist who shouted, "LOOK AT ME!" even though I only looked away for a few damn seconds. When doctors and dentists yell, it is time for the patient to quit.

UHH GETTING Tooth pulled out 2moz n i dont wanna go! my fear is not the pulled out part but the injection... i always have blood tests, injections etc. but in my mouth?

In the USA there is so much competition between the many dentists that there is an enormous emphasis on "patient comfort" from the moment you walk in the door. There is no national health care here so the dentists are usually paid directly by the patients (although some people who can afford it buy dental insurance) at $1300 for a root canal and up to $1900 for a crown dentists are practically kissing our feet when we enter the office
