STL Ocarina International Star Search Competition Entry

This is my entry for STL Ocarina International Star Search Competition.

First the required piece, "Raglan Road", using their provided backtrack slowed up in tempo a bit.
For the free piece, I was thorn between several songs, like Memory of Fanelia, Somewhere in Time, and Air on the G string, but ultimately chose "Can't Smile Without you" in the version of Barry Manilow for lots of reasons, naming some: the use of almost all the range of my 12 hole ocarina, slow and quick fingerings, plus I'm obsessed with it (sing it Blue!!~) =P

This is my first and only ocarina at the moment. I got it back in October last year so I'm still improving, I hope =)




I recorded the ocarina sound with my desktop's microphone, no reverbs added.
