Viljið tær hoyra kvæði mítt,
viljið tær orðum trugva,
um hann Ólav Trygvason,
og hagar skal ríman snúgva.
Glymur dansur í høll,
dans sláið í ring:
Glaðir ríða Noregsmenn
til Hildarting.

I know. I've looked that up. But the part in this clip I know. And if I could get the lyrics with al the 86 verses I could learn it ennyway sense I study the languge.
-
the original dance version has 86 verses, so i do not think that týr's could have helped you that much.

Olav Tryggvason is a Saint in Faroe, because he introduced christianity, as the Faroe Islands are the Nordic Bible Belt, and paganism is not welcome.
Why are they speaking icelandic? is this from some faroese event in Iceland?
