Addictive Drums with Automation

Probably the most twisted electronic sound you can get from acoustic drums. Using the automation features in Cubase to control the inserts in Addictive Drums you can come up with some quite interesting sounds. All the beats in the video comes from the Addictive Drums Midi beats library.

I've tested Superior Drummer 2, All EZ drummer expansions, Battery 3, Studio Drummer and BFD 2. But now I only use Addictive Drums, it has so many effects built in and is fastest to load the samples.

So you can only have 3 points of automation on your EQ? that's kinda lame...You'd think that a drum program would allow more than three EQ points since studio drums are 99.9% EQ

It's done by using automation curves in Cubase!!

How is he changing and shifting the sound with those envelopes on the left side? Are those volume envelopes or some other kind? I tried to do that and I can't figure it out. I have Sonar 7 by the way.
