Periods on T question...

Mine came on right after I got my shot and it had came on 2 weeks prior to me getting my shot.It hasn't came back every since. I also took Zinc to help block estrogen.

@REALLYKINGstin Zinc really does that? Because im having issues right now with spotting....i had my period 2 weeks ago and i randomly started spotting now for a whole week. I dont know if my body is just confused or what. But do you think Zinc really helps block estrogen? Maybe ill try it.

The first day was extremely heavy but after that it got lighter.

My periods stopped as soon as I started T but that was probably because I was started on a high dose (250mg injectable every month). I've heard of a few guys who get really heavy periods before it stops for good - kinda like your body trying to get rid of all that crap now it doesn't need it. Hopefully this will be the last of it. But on the plus side your voice sounds lower!

i thought mine was done about 2 months on t and i was so happy. then it came randomly one day, but it was a lot shorter and lighter and i didn't even notice it at all. and i haven't gotten it again since then, so i hope it's over with now. you may get another one that's lighter.. it usually doesn't just stop after being real heavy...

That really sucks, man. I have heard other guys talk about having a really similar situation. Medically, the hormone cycle is starting to go out of wack, so stuff does build up a little if the T doesn't totally stop it in the first month. So either it stops it early and it's a tiny bit, or it's late and really heavy and (usually) never comes back. It's actually healthy that your body did that - some guys have to have it induced to reduce risk of cancer. (From a medical journal on T).

A lot of people do not stop their periods on the gel, but since you have started the shots this will probably be your last one.

hey...being on testogel I didn't expect it to stop straight away...infact mine came 2 weeks early and was the most painful one I have ever experienced......I haven't had one for over a month and im Now 5 months on T...other guys have stopped straight away so it is very different for everyone....I completely understand how you feel...I refused to go out and worst thing was they lasted a few more days than pre-t..... hope they stop soon for you :-D

It can depend on your dose as well (if it's low)
