University of Delaware's Band Day with UMASS and high school bands..."God Bless The U.S.A." right after September 11th...it was a very moving performance.

I was a freshmen in college with the UMMB and this was hands down one of the most memorable experiences of my whole life.

I can't believe I found this! It was probably one of the most amazing moments of my life, I'll never forget that day and how it felt! I was a freshman mello for UD and my lil sister was drum major from a local high school. It was so empowering and intense!

what touches me, is the fact the band didnt really practice this song, or had it prepared, most of the members havnt even had time to memorize it yet, (notice the flip folders). Yey, it sounds beautiful nethertheless. GOD bless America.

i remember seeing this but i cant remember what year it was taken because i was @ UMass Amherst from 2005 - 2009 and a freshman in high school in 2001 idk if it was during my hs years or when i was @ umass could someone give me the closest date for it?

this show was a couple monumental firsts..

1) The UMass uniforms debuted BRAND NEW FIRST SHOW in them

2) FIRST SHOW post sept 11... powerful show..
