As an Electronics Technician for over 34 years I noticed one tool that geeks (computer repairers) rarely use and that is the ESP wrist strap and pad. It only takes a coupla hundred millivolts in the right places to zap the microelectronics used in computers. The thing about static electricity is this: It usually does the damage later on, significantly reducing lifespan of the unit. Use ESP (ElectroStaticProtection)
